WHO WE ARE
Stuart Ottinger is the founder and owner of Oxford Provisions Group, LLC “OPG”, a restaurant group focused on operating and developing multiple first class concepts in the Southeast. Currently, OPG is a five-unit franchisee of Another Broken Egg “ABE” with units in Nashville, TN and Baton Rouge, LA, partner in BJ's Pizza House (Lafayette, LA), owner of OPG Catering and proprietor of Mercy Kitchen and Palmyre in Lafayette, LA, along with his wife, Colleen. Stuart has 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry opening over 50 locations with multiple brands. Stuart started his career in 2001 when he was co-founder and owner of a fast casual chicken concept started in Nashville called Otter’s Chicken. He grew Otter’s to 4 corporate locations and 3 franchised locations before selling the concept, which still operates multiple units in Atlanta, GA today. From 2011 to 2019 he held roles as COO and President of Double R Restaurant Group based in Lafayette, LA. Under Stuart’s leadership at Double R the company grew from a two-unit restaurant group to 40 units in 7 states operating three different concepts. Double R became the largest franchisee for Another Broken Egg, operated a casual Italian concept called Romacelli and developed a restaurant and wine bar called POUR. Double R grew from $2.2M to $60M in revenue over Stuart’s tenure. Stuart was responsible for oversight of all company operations and was integral in the fast paced development of the ABE brand by opening 6 to 9 units annually. Ottinger was instrumental in the development of the concept Pour. In 16 months, Ottinger and his team were responsible for a 425% growth in EBITDA for the concept which led to a sale of the concept. In April 2019, Ottinger departed his role as President of Double R and formed Oxford Provisions Group and purchased four of Double R’s Another Broken Egg locations. Ottinger is a founding board member and served on the Franchise Advisory Council for Another Broken Egg franchise system. Ottinger was awarded the “Operator of the Year” at the 2021 ABEA national summit. Recognized for his financial and operational performance within the Broken Egg franchise system. The Ottinger’s have a passion for southern hospitality and creating concepts and events, with a focus on all the small details.
